Affordable Website and Editable Website Packages - How to Order
Affordable Website Packages
- Though not essential, we would recommend that you get in touch with us to discuss your requirements, either by phone or email. We can answer your questions, explain our services and offer important help and advice.
- Choose a preferred domain name based on a single word or a two or three word phrase. We will then attempt to register this for you if it is still available; if not, we will suggest some alternatives. We would strongly recommend that you choose a domain name with a .co.uk or .org.uk (for community groups) suffix if you are a UK based professional, small business or community group. We can register a .com suffix for you, but these are more suited to international organisations.
- Think carefully about the information (content) that you want to display on your website.
- Your content should be prepared in an electronic format using for example; Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Wordpad, Wordperfect or another word processing or publishing software. If your photos or other images are separate from your content document, then they should be in JPG, PNG or BMP format.
- We can also accept your content as hard copy if required, but we will charge a 10% processing fee. Hard copy can be: letters, brochures, photos, leaflets, notes, news clippings and so on. (These can be returned if required.)
- Send your content including your full contact details and logo (if you have one) to us by email (or post if you are sending hard copy).
- Send us a cheque for 50% of the order value, made payable to: Intech Design Limited (for single page websites, we require the full payment of £100).
- Upon receipt of all your website content and subject to clearance of your payment, we will schedule your order.
- Your developing website will be protected by a password until completed so that only yourself, your colleagues, friends (and other people that you want to specifically give access to) and ourselves, will be able to view the progress of your website.
- Once completed, you will have a further seven working days to inform us of any further changes that you would like us to make to your website before it is made 'live' on the Web. There will be no charge for reasonable changes made during this period.
